Think back to the very first time you played a video game. What game was your first and can you remember the year you first played it? Mine was Sonic the Hedgehog on the Sega Mega Drive/Genesis! This was back in 1994 when I was around 4 years old. My cousins brought their Genesis over to my grandparent's house and one of them handed me the controller, I was hesitant at first but man I loved playing Green Hill Zone and then they told me the level select code and I still remember it by heart. I love Sonic, it's still my favorite gaming franchise!

The first video game I played was Super Mario Brothers on the old 80's Nintendo. I liked it for a little while when I was a kid but eventually grew bored playing it.

I can't remember the exact first game, I think it was also Super Mario Bros on the NES at a friend's house, but I can't verify that for certain. I know the first one I played in depth was Alex Kidd in Miracle World followed by Alex Kidd in Shinobi World, both super fun! I was a Sega kid growing up and loved the Master System and the Mega Drive/Genesis so, so much. Loved the NES and SNES, too, thanks to friends :)

Some floppy disk games (Doom, Aladdin, etc) and some children’s games Freddy Fish, Pajama Sam, Putt Putt, … and eventually Rayman 2! I loved that game so much.
