Final To-Do List Before Launch

Hi everyone,

Just a quick update! We're almost ready to launch Threadgrove, but there are a few things I’m still waiting on / doing before we go live.

• Shop items need to be added.
• Group permissions need to be checked and finalized.
• Early Birds usergroup needs to be added. (not confirmed)
• 250/500/1000 usergroup needs to be added. (not confirmed)
• Custom theme needs to be finished and applied.
• Final logo and branding need to be completed.
• A few add-ons are still missing and need to be added.
• More content needs to be posted. (You’re all doing a great job, but this is mostly on me—posting new threads and completing package orders.)

More tasks may come up as we approach launch. We’re aiming for sometime next week or the week after, at the latest. Thanks so much for your patience!

It's a profile music addon. Don't know if we have many music enthusiasts here who'd like to show off their taste and love for music in their profile page?

Seems excessive when we can post songs and share recommendations in threads and whatnot, but it is a neat add-on. Not sure it's strictly necessary, and perhaps not something needed at the early stages...maybe something to keep in the back pocket for down the line? If enough people join who talk music religiously it could be a factor to consider? It's an impressive add-on, just...excessive for a small community in its' infancy, IMO.

Quick update: the theme was delayed for a few days due to a technical issue, but development has now resumed since today, so I’m hoping it will be done this week. As soon as our theme is added, we’ll do the final touches and officially open within a few days.

I'm not a big fan of a super charged profile. Music is a very delicate topic, i'm sure most of the people here won't like my tastes , so having them to listen to my tunes might cause them a headache

I'd focus on a responsive theme and custom postbits, profiles, badges, trophies.. motivation to keep yourself active.

I'm sure it'll be worth the wait! I like that music addon too, but maybe wait to add that to the site at a later date. The plugin reminds me of the old Myspace days, that was the only social media platform I actually liked lol.
