Yep, on a couple of different occasions. The dumbest one was someone holding my site hostage because they claimed they put custom graphics on it (this was back in 2001 when "custom images" meant recolouring a button or two) and wanted $800 for their "work." I just took the site back by changing their permissions and my own, banning them and being done with it all. Stupid reason to try and blackmail someone.
