What got you into forums?

I found one when I first started using the internet in about 1995, thought it was amazing, saw people having fun posting and was hooked ever since. I was just an annoying little kid then, but I've grown into an equally annoying adult.
I started using forums in 2002. While collecting and trading Yu-Gi-Oh cards, this was what got me into forums originally. I joined a board games forum where it had a small TCG section and from there I met people which eventually led me to InvisionFree. It then sparked my interest to create my own forums. At first I didn't know what I was doing, and I kept just blatantly copying forums I had laid my eyes on. Eventually I did develop my own way and made some pretty popular forums back in the day. Since then, I've been building forums and websites because it's a hobby and passion.
