laptop or desktop?

Which do you prefer? Laptop, desktop, or do you use both?

I prefer a desktop, I need my screen real-estate.

I use a laptop (MacBook), but I usually have it connected to two 27" monitors, so I kind of use it as a desktop anyway. I just need my MacBook's portability.

Although I like laptops for mobility, my laptop always stays in the same area. I like the compactness and simplicity of a laptop too. I currently use a Google Chromebook and considering I primarily use a computer for browsing the web, it works wonders for my intent.
