What is your favorite movie?

Mine is Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

I don't have a single favourite, per se, but I love a lot of different movies. I guess if I had to pick something to put at the top it would be the LotR Trilogy

I enjoyed the first movie. Fellowship of The Ring. I liked when they fought through the Mines of Moria.

Agreed, Moria was a great part of the first film, though I wish they'd given a little bit more depth to the Balrog...I know they did the Extended Editions in the later films, but still...could've been just a little better.

I don't remember the book all that well. I read it years ago when I was 14, when first movie was being heavily advertised and promoted before release into theaters. Everyone was psyched for it. I just remember that it took me almost a year to read all 3 books.

Yeah, I read the books around the same time and then really got into Tolkien after the first film, I started reading all of the books. The Silmarillion, The Hobbit, and all of the works into the Middle Earth realm, and then everything he wrote beyond that. He has a great knack for writing tragedies. The Story of Kulervo is one of my favourite tragedies of all time. But his writing style is VERY hard to get into at first!

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is also my favorite. I love everything about it. I've always been fascinated by Middle-earth and all the characters, creatures, places, etc.
