Do you know any programming languages? If so which ones do you know and are you a decent programmer? I know a few languages, but honestly I'm still an novice since I don't really practice much. Plus I'm better at modifying existing code rather than writing code from scratch. I know a few different assembler languages like Motorola 68k, Zilog Z80 and GB Z80. (It's not much different from Zilog Z80, it has a few extra instructions.) I also know a little Python, and a tiny bit of C#.

I started with web based stuff like HTML/CSS/Javascript and so on, then learned programming with Java (making use of the Velocity and Spring frameworks) and C++. I'm trying to get back into things again now as I look to transition back to an IT career once whatever happens with my mother, so I'd like to get more into languages like Python and Go and Ruby just to round out my skillset more. I'd love to learn more about NoSQL databases, too. Get myself up to speed on everything.

Since HTML and CSS are not technically considered programming languages, I only know JavaScript. I've been using it in combination with jQuery for about a decade. I've always used non-self-hosted forum platforms where the primary way to create and manipulate features is with JavaScript, so I've enjoyed what I've done with the language.
