Do you enjoy your job?

Honestly? No. I do it because I have to. I was fine quitting my job and looking after my mother nine years ago because she needed me to. It has gradually grown in size and scope over those years and totally destroyed my mental health, financial well-being and potential future prospects in life. I don't like doing what I have to do on a daily basis for her, I simply do it because it needs to be done and because I love my mother enough to be the one to do it.

I like my current job, I've been working at US Bank for almost four months now. I work in the national lockbox area, I don't interact with customers but I extract the checks they send in for their credit card bills and loans. I mainly get to sit at a desk, sometimes I work on a machine that extracts mail automatically and I have to stand but if we don't have too many trays of mail I get it done within the first four hours of my shift so it's not bad. Sometimes I get to key in check amounts, but this is only if we run out of mail to extract.

I work at the arts and crafts store, Michaels. I can say it is the job I've enjoyed most out of all jobs I've had. It's a pretty simple job, there are minimal people you have to deal with, and so far, the employees haven't given me any problems.
