Celebrating my birthday used to get so much attention years ago but as I get older, I no longer place any priority on doing it. It have been more than 7 years since I last celebrated my birthday.

Do you celebrate your birthday?

Not since I was 17, it just hasn't meant anything to me. My family still wish me a happy birthday, but it's not really a day of interest to me.

I'm 34 and my parents still often spoil me with gifts for my birthday. We also usually go out with a portion of family members at a nice restaurant to celebrate.

My people always celebrate my birthday. It is act that they've been consistently doing and believe me when I say that I've enjoyed every bit of my birthday. It brings me a lot of joy to my heart.

Unless I am the one that is going to remind my parents about my birthday, they don't remember anymore and I don't hold it against them. They used to do it for me as a kid.

I have never done so and it’s not something I will eventually do. My parents never celebrated any of our birthdays when we were young too, after all it’s just like every other day.

I do celebrate my birthday. Often by going abroad somewhere warm, as the October month can start to become colder. However, some years I’m unable to due to financial constraints.
