Both debit and credit cards are two means of running financial transactions. When it comes to the one that you are very comfortable and cool with using, which one is it and why is it so?

Debit, usually, credit tends to have fees attached at a lot of places.

I prefer to use a debit card. I have a credit card as well, but I don’t use it that often.

Debit card for me for day-to-day spending, credit card for big purchases (£100+) because of the extra protection offered under the Credit Consumer Act in the UK to credit card purchases.

I prefer credit cards. You can gain cashback and you also get the added protection if something goes wrong to get your money back. Furthermore, if you repay in full each month you don’t get charged interest so effectively free loan.
