I've got a 2004 Suzuki GSX-R 600. Which has around 116hp.

I ride an old Honda - it's my first bike and someone gave me this one for free on the day I picked up my new driver's license last year:

Saving up for a new one, though! Currently eyeing CFMoto's 800NK (Nebula).

Ah that's cool! Do you drive often?
Not in cold/wet weather, haha. But I did ride almost every day before it got colder. I got my license in May '24. I do love riding, so that's why I'm saving up to get my own (new) bike now to make those rides even more enjoyable.

Since it's an oldtimer, I'm also afraid it will just die on me at some point, so I mostly just ride it to work and some short routes for fun. But hey, like I said, I got it for free, so far it just does what it's supposed to do and I don't even have to pay road taxes for it, so I'm happy for the time being. :)

That's cool. I'm going to drive more often this year. Past year was just terrible. No time or didn't feel like it.

Putting on the gear is just a burden, lol.

I usually just wear a protective jacket, gloves, helmet and shoes. When I go to work, I just bring an extra pair of shoes in my bag so that I can at least wear normal shoes for the day. The pants really are too much of a burden. I only wear the protective pants if I'm only going out to ride (and nothing else, since I don't want to change my pants at work).

Maybe not the best idea, but it's only like a 15-min drive to work, and I don't have to ride the highway to get there.

I do hate how my helmet always messes up my hair though. :P

Ya lol. I usually put wax in my hair, so a helmet does mess up the hair. :P

When I started driving, I first purchased a one piece suit, the one from the picture in the OP. It's a damn burden. I takes me minutes to PULL it on literally. Didn't take long until I purchased a two piece suit.

Me too, the wax + helmet combination makes my hair stick flat to my head. Lol. Maybe that issue will be over sometime soon-ish since I'm growing out my hair now hahaha. Last year I just did not do my hair and leave some wax at work so I could put it in over there instead.

I think one-piece suits look nice, but I know they are a burden. I borrowed one from someone a while ago (not to ride myself, since I did not have my license back then - I was a passenger, I did not have proper equipment of my own and we drove to Belgium). That's also when I decided that I would always get a two-piece if I ever were to get a license myself hahah. It took a proper while to put it on, and afterwards, I felt like I was stuck in it since taking it off wasn't very easy either haha.
